Faculty
Our group works in the area of printed electronics and thin film deposition. We work on both fundamental and applied research, related to electronic device fabrication. We focus mainly on vapor deposition, solution processing, and wet chemical routes for synthesis and fabrication and use a variety of characterization techniques for structural and functional property measurments.

Group Updates

  1. Nitheesh's work on thermochromic materials has been filed as a patent. Congrats.
  2. Video blogs (vlogs) of our recent works are now available in the group YouTube channel. The links are also given in the Publications page. 
  3. Nitheesh's work on a silver nanowire-based nancomposite for flexible electronics applications has been published in ACS Applied Electronic Materials. Congrats. Krishna Kumar is co-author of this work, which also has contributions from Prof. Kavitha Arunachalam and her student, from Engineering Design department.
  4. Krishna's work on liquid-state dewetting in bismuth thin films has been published in Surface Engineering. Mrudula is the co-author for this work. Congrats to both of them.
  5. Nitheesh won a DST AWSAR award for popular science writing, based on his research. He was one among 100 PhD students selected across the country. Congrats. The award winning article can be accessed here
