Welcome to EMTFL website
Our group works in the area of printed electronics and thin film deposition. We work on both fundamental and applied research, related to electronic device fabrication. We focus mainly on vapor deposition, solution processing, and wet chemical routes for synthesis and fabrication and use a variety of characterization techniques for structural and functional property measurments.

Group Updates

  1. We have moved. Our lab has shifted from the location in MSRC to the New Academic Complex (NAC). The room number is NAC 213.
  2. Ruban. R joined the group, as a project associate. He will working on a project initiated with Saint-Gobain India Pvt. Ltd.. He has a background in Mechanical Engineering.  
  3. T. Bhargavi, a MS student, joined the group. She has her Bachelors in Rubber and Plastic Technology from Anna University. 
  4. Hari Ramachandran presented a paper on nickel oxide based heterojunctions at the Student academic conference, Inter IIT Tech meet, held at IIT Bombay. He won best presenter award in the Nanomaterials and nanosciences theme. Congrats.   
  5. Nitheesh M. Nair, Mahaboob Jahanara, K. Harish, and Hari Ramachandran attended the 3rd International Conference on Soft Materials (ICSM) in Jaipur and presented their work. Nitheesh and Hari won the best poster awards and the award for Nitheesh was sponsored by the Royal Society of Chemistry. Congrats.
