Prof. Harry Bhadeshia, from the University of Cambridge, Prof. Sir Harry Bhadeshia is a world-renowned metallurgist and the Emeritus Tata Steel Professor of Metallurgy at the University of Cambridge. In 2022, he also joined Queen Mary University of London as a Professor of Metallurgy. He is widely celebrated for his ground breaking research on the atomic mechanisms and solid-state phase transformations of steels, most notably the complex bainitic transformation.
|ABSTRACT
Prof. Harry Bhadeshia, a celebrity Professor in the field of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, from the University of Cambridge, now affiliated with Queen Mary University, London, is invited as our institute's guest from 17th to 21st August, 2026. During his stay, he will conduct a 4-day workshop, a town hall lecture, and a podcast interview on themes and topics relevant to materials and sustainability.
